Biography

Oleh Shchuryk is Manager of Research and Innovation at IRU Projects, Brussels office. He is responsible for supporting IRU in several EU funded projects. His research area covers data collection and analysis on deployment of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) services. Oleh holds a PhD degree and several MAs from KU Leuven as well as a Certificate in Automobile Logistics Management. He is a lecturer at the ECG Academy where he gives a course on ‘Finished Vehicle Logistics by Rail in Europe.’ He is also involved in preparation of training programmes for transport operators on deployment of ITS and C-ITS services. Oleh has authored several publications related to logistics in transport.
